Bringing All Your Communications Needs Together

The eAssistant Server System is a Java-based communications platform that delivers voice mail, email, and FAX messaging in a unified environment. This system enables you to access all your messages on your desktop PC, through a voice-activated or touch-tone telephone, or over the Internet. We have built the system from the ground up, to take full advantage of Java, Speech Recognition and Text-to-Speech technologies, and to deliver mission-critical performance and reliability. The main modules of the eAssistant Server System are described below.

Speech Recognition Telephone Access
Users of the eAssistant Server System can access their messages (voice mail, email, or FAX), contact data, and other information via any telephone, using Speech Recognition. This interface does not require users to “train” the system. This system can also be accessed via a telephone’s touch-tone keys.

Web Access
The Web Access interface provides users access to their voice mail, email, and FAX messages, contact data and other user information from any computer that is connected to the Internet.

Email Messaging Service
The eAssistant Server System contains an email server that manages your internal and external email messaging. Subscribers can access their email via the telephone and reply to their email with a voice-annotated attachment.

Contact Information Manager Service
The eAssistant Server System allows exchange of contact information between itself and programs such as ACT. It manages all contacts and gives the user access to them over the Internet, through a desktop, or voice-activated telephone.

Calendar and Reminder Service
The eAssistant Server System can manage all your calendar appointments and reminder items. It can notify you by pager, phone, or desktop.


Enhanced Voice Messaging Service
Subscribers can retrieve, send, forward, and reply to their voice messages at any time from any telephone or computer connected to the Internet.

Follow Me Anywhere Service
The eAssistant lets you configure the phone number at which you will be present at any given moment and eAssistant Server will screen and route all your calls to that number. You don not have to give out your cell or home phone numbers. You can have the system try you at the cell phone, home phone or office phone in whatever order you specify.

Tell Me When you Have New Messages
The eAssistant can call you when the system receives a certain number of messages after a certain time period or from certain contacts. These can be email, voicemail or FAX messages.

Video Messaging Service
Subscribers can retrieve, send, forward, and reply their video messages at any time from any computer connected to the Internet.

Telephone Dialer
Subscribers can dial contact phone numbers directly from eAssistant’s contact information.

Auto Attendant Service
The eAssistant Server System’s Auto Attendant service provides callers access to company personnel via voice-activated commands or by entering an extension. It can also route a call to special numbers such as that of the operator or FAX machine.

Administration and System Diagnosis
The eAssistant Server System comes with easy-to-use Windows/NT based applications to administer your system, but you do not have to be a Windows/NT expert to use these tools. You can administer your system from any computer that is connected to the eAssistant Server System via a LAN.

Communications Switch
The eAssistant Server 400 System can be purchased with a telephone switch that has four outgoing ports and sixteen extensions. The eAssistant Server 400 system has three voice mail ports and one Auto Attendant port. The eAssistant Server 800 system contains eight ports in total. With key-set phones, the eAssistant Server system lights up your message waiting indicator lamp when you have new messages (even email!).

Mobile Smart Phone Integration
This feature allows you to access all your eAssistant data with a BlackBerry, Palm Treo, Windows Mobile or a smart phone.
